2. The Free Indoor Gem: Croydon Libraries (Free)
Don't underestimate the local library network! During half-term, libraries across Croydon (including Central, Thornton Heath, and South Norwood) typically run free daily activities, ranging from Lego building clubs to interactive storytelling sessions and arts and crafts. It's a completely free way to kill two hours indoors.
3. The Budget-Friendly Gem: PLAYBOX at Boxpark (Price: Β£0 - Β£10)
Looking for a simple half-term win? PLAYBOX at Boxpark Croydon is running a brilliant deal from 25 May to 31 May: two kids play free with one paying adult during off-peak times. Packed with digital shuffleboards, darts, and karaoke, it is a fantastic indoor option that actually keeps older kids entertained.
4. The Mid-Range Gem: The Ludoquist (Β£7 per person)
If you want to pull the kids away from their screens, head to The Ludoquist on the High Street. For a small cover charge (around Β£7), you get access to a massive library of over 1,400 board games. Grab a table, order some amazing homemade pizzas, and spend the afternoon playing everything from classic Monopoly to complex strategy games.
5. The Premium Treat Gem: Oxygen Freejumping (Β£15 - Β£20)
When they simply have too much energy to burn, itβs time to call in the big guns. Oxygen Freejumping in the Colonnades is a massive indoor trampoline park featuring dodgeball courts, giant airbags, and obstacle courses. It's on the pricier side, but it guarantees they will sleep well that night!
π Bonus Weekend Gem: South Norwood Country Park Kiosk

Want to bookend your half-term with a local win? The kiosk at South Norwood Country Park is open strictly on Saturdays between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and theyβve got your weekends sorted.
